Crafted with passion

Arya’s Takeaway sits on George’s Street in the middle of Newbridge. One kitchen, one long day: espresso and Irish breakfast from 8am, pizza and pasta through the afternoon, smashed burgers, kebabs and loaded chips until the early hours.

Everything is cooked to order. Dough is stretched by hand, chips are cut fresh, pasta is finished in the pan, and the bakery counter turns out baguettes, focaccia and pastries through the day.

The menu deliberately crosses borders — Italian, Irish and Romanian dishes side by side — because that’s what the people who cook here grew up eating.
